Freshman Walter Delapaz led the visiting North Stars (9-1-0, 8-0-0) with a second half brace, and Luke Persenico added the final goal. John Kirby contributed two helpers, and Jared Sinnaeve had one. Max Montgomery earned the shutout for the league leaders, who are ranked seventh in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25. Wheaton Warrenville South fell to 2-5-2, 1-5-2.

A Declan Flanagan hat-trick combined with tenacious defense delivered the Knights' third-straight victory. Max Mho and Alejandro Martinez contributed assists for Prospect (3-4-1, 3-3-1).

The third-ranked Blue Devils took command early behind a Ishaan Shah brace in the first five minutes. Sebastian Rodriguez and Cael Harris contributed a goal and assist apiece. Nathan Stutzman, Alex Senko and Miguel Garcia put their names in the goal column. Edward Luna and Ryley Carbajal posted assists. Nic Diana made two saves for the shutout. "Really happy for the boys," said coach Jason Ahonen, whose club improved to 6-0-0, 4-0-0. "Today’s field conditions were quite difficult for us and not what we are used to. We were able to find the back of the net early which allowed us to relax a little bit and find our rhythm."

Sam Bull led the way with a brace, and Brian Benton scored for the Trojans, who remained perfect in the conference with a 3-0-0 record. Gavin Crowson earned another clean-sheet with a rock-solid performance from his defense. Downers Grove North (4-1-1 overall) travels to Proviso West for its next league match Thursday.
